We are currently searching for AUTOMOTIVE FUNCTIONAL SAFETY ENGINEERS (m/f/d) for for a full-time position in one of our Automotive projects  located in Hannover, Germany.

Your duties :

  •  Functional safety engineering for development of V2X-Connectivity Control Unit according to the ISO 26262 Standard
  •  Evaluation and review of Safety Requirement with HW/SW-Developers and System-Architect
  •  Evaluation and review of a Safety Concept in cooperation with the V2X-team
  •  Handling of the documentation and the development process according to the Safety Plan and ISO 26262

Required skills :

  • Functional safety knowledge
  • Expertise in automotive and / or aeronautic functional safety (ISO 26262 standard)
  • Proficient knowledge in system safety-analysis for embedded systems
  • Good knowledge in SW quality best practices (Automotive SPICE / ASPICE)
  • Familiar with monitoring concepts and measures to fulfill ASIL requirements
  • Familiar with requirements and development processes

You are :

  • Engineering background with a specialization in electronics or computer science
  • A first successful experience in the Embedded Software Development field
  • Rigorous and structured way of working
  • Fluent in written and spoken English (essential)
  • A highly motivated, curious, ambitious individual with interested in teamwork
  • Very good interpersonal and communicational skills
