We are currently searching for a HIL TEST ENGINEER for one of our automotive projects in the UK. Applications for an end of studies internship will also be considered.

Your duties :

  • Defining and executing tests on a variety of ECU (Powertrain, Body, Infotainment) based on system requirements.
  • Managing the configuration of the Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) rigs according to the software validation plan.
  • Designing wiring and supporting build and commissioning activities to ensure the HiL rig is to the correct standard and level for system testing.
  • Producing documentation and reports, managing the hardware and software configurations with appropriate version control.

Required skills :

  • Knowledge on diagnostic protocol UDS ISO-14229, XCP and CCP protocols
  • Knowledge of MATLAB / SIMULINK
  • Knowledge of Bus-Systems (CAN, CANoe, CANape), Automotive Ethernet

You are :

  • Electrical, Software, Automotive engineering or similar Master Degree / Engineering School Degree
  • A first successful experience in development of Hardware-in-the-Loop test benches (dSPACE, Vector VT system and National Instrument PXI)
  • Rigorous and structured way of working
  • Fluent in written and spoken English (essential)
  • A highly motivated, curious, ambitious individual with good interpersonal skills interested in teamwork
